I'm 23, not ually active but have been experience some weird sh*t. Last July I got the shot, but Neva had so I didn't see the need to get the second one. I just went 8 months no period, early July my period comes, last 7 days, and then today it came again. What does that mean? I ask could it be my body changing because for the past two weeks my have been hurting and there a little bigger. I know Im not preg, so what is the problem? Special needs is probably different than the image that you have from how it was when you were a kid. If your child has some needs the more support the better and the earlier the better. The test results are not considered to be very reliable or respected. It is basically a way to justify the need for services. Most areas have what is called full-inclusion clrooms in the public school district. My 7 y.o. son is in a full inclusion clroom. The cl has up to 30% of identified kids with delays. The other 70% are typical. Just today I received my sons psychological eval results and do to many reasons they grossly underestimate his abilities. I plan to disagree and have an independent eval done (at the school districts expense)

To make a long story short. Me and my child's father barely communicate because of some of his unnecessary behavior. Why don’t people play handheld games nowadays?

Every time I am in public, all I see is people using IPODS, Cell phones to text, and just reading but nowadays, it seems like nobody plays gameboys or handheld games anymore. Why is that? How long to use abreva if cold sore never showed up?

This would have been my first cold sore ever. I woke up from a nap last wed with a sharp tingling in my left bottom lip, that lasted about 10 min. Then it started throbbing. Well, for the next evening and thurs morning it was more like a twinge (kind of like when a pinched nerve in your eye, leg, or arm makes you have a little twinge). I went to the store and bought abreva b/c i heard that if you apply at the first sign of tingling that it may stop the outbreak alltogether. I have been applying 5 times a day and its now Mon. No sign of a cold sore yet...im wondering how many days you have to use abreva after there has been no sign of a sore. I know it says not to use more than ten days, but at what point is it ok to stop using it? Is one going to pop up if I stop using it now? If anyone can fill me in on cold sores, how long and how many days are in between each "stage", and anything else, I would really appreciate it! I dont want to overuse it...but I want to know thats its ok to stop. I also am not even sure that it was a cold sore in the making...is there anything else that can cause those symptoms? They don't always do this, but a lot of the time they do. For the first year I didn't let it bother me because I figured I had gone by my maiden name so long that it was difficult to adjust, but now after 5 years it's starting to get rather irritating. I've brought it up before subtly by signing my last name on cards or e-mails. I've also come out and said something about it. It really aggravates my husband, as well, but I just can't get them to understand to make an effort to remember my married name, which is actually shorter and more common than my previous one. I'm certain that it's not just they can't remember it, I think they do this on purpose, which makes it more irritating. Also, I did not choose hyphenate either.

I'm try to use more psychology on my daughters. One is 4 the other is 6. I've been doing a lot of reading at the library, and about presenting "dominance" and control along with certain, fairly subconscious cues and triggers. I would suggest talking to your doctor about all of this before you double it because it could be that they want you to be careful about what is in your system at the time of surgery soon. Plus doubling it just does not sound safe to me. i think that you need to see another doctor and get a second opinion. That just seems like you would be putting a lot of hormones into your body all at once. Hi, the first two contributors gave some excellent advice. I have fed all of my children, many for extended periods and have found that their needs are different from formula fed babies. For a start, milk is naturally very sweet so your little one will probably respond to sweeter foods. Obviously you are looking for natural sweetness and not added sugars. fed babies are also more likely to feed little and often and at unusual times, this can lead to an erratic appetite which doesn't neccessarily fit into your normal mealtimes. Bear this in mind when picking your time to offer solids. Also if your baby is very hungry or thirsty she may opt for the speedy satisfaction of a feed as solids can take longer to hit the spot. Try a little milk and break off to offer solids in the middle. If your baby was happily weaned and then seemed to take a backward step, be patient and bear in mind that babies often put aside skills they have mastered for a while in order to concentrate on learning new skills or dealing with new stages in their development. She could be busy preparing to teeth or crawl or any number of other things that need her full attention for a short time. Also babies do get bored easily, try to vary recipes until you find out what the favourites are. If you are already trying new flavours, you may have to offer the new food on many occions before your baby accepts it. Suboxone takes the cravings away, but makes me feel sick? HELP!?

I havnt used heroin in about 34 days.... Ive been put on a script of suboxone, and was a miricle to curb the cravings during this transitional period...but always makes me feel severly nauctious, and have horrible headaches. I started at 8mg when i was withdrawling, then tapered down to 6mg, thinking nausea and headaches would subside, a week later to 4mg, and a a few days later to 2mg, and even at 2 mgs it makes me feel sick...has anyone else experienced this? Why does this happen? I took it about a year ago for a few months and didnt have this problem, and i dont have money to see a doctor now to discuss it with them, i tried to call and they told me i could only talk to him with an appointment, which in no way can i afford! and in my current position believe that I really need help with the intense cravings, is suboxone just not going to work with my body? It makes me sad cause it helped a lot last time when it didnt make me feel sick all the time. -ANY input appreciated, thanks

Ok Ill start by saying I had my last period the first week of April. I believe it ended April 8th! Pain and swelling in cheeks?

I have been sick now for 4 days with symptoms of coughing, sneezing, headache, chills, body ache, congestion, sinus drainage, and sore throat. Even though I felt slightly better today, I woke up this morning with swollen and painful cheeks right at the jaw hinge. The swelling is noticeable and the pain is pretty bad. I've read other accounts of swollen cheeks but my pain does not shoot to my eyes or ears, it is localized to my cheeks and follows my lower jaw downwards. I thought it might be my teeth at first, but the pain does not shoot out from my teeth even when chewing hard or pushing on them. Ibuprofen seemed to help the swelling a bit, but it eventually came right back. My coughing and sneezing fits have been very severe, hopefully this is not an infection! Any ideas?

What to put in art project?

we have to do this thing in art where you draw 8 lines and 2 big shapes (around a foot long) on a poster sized piece of paper then draw 5 meduim sized objects (around 6'' to a foot) and then draw 20 small objects (around 2'' to 4'') next we have to add patterns in the background. we have to have a theme too. I have my lines, large shapes, medium objects (giraffe, lion, hippo, gazelle, leopard), and for my pattern i was going to have animal print like zebra stripes and leopard spots. now all i need is some ideas of small objects that i could use that go with my theme. i need at least 2 ideas, but the more the better.

Do you mean that after your hysterectomy, the docs did a study of cells on your uterus and found precancerous cells in what they had removed? Or do you mean that you had a complete hysterectomy awhile back, and since that time you have had a pap smear and it came back with precancerous cells that are still in your body? If it's the second one, then you'll have to keep going back to the doc to get the areas of the precancerous cells removed, I think. If you've already had your cervix removed, yet still have precancerous cells in your , then I'm not sure what they will do.

You sound like you are really having a large problem. I think that you could have allergies. Allergies can do the same thing that you are talking about. Also, anyone with asthma knows it is hard to breathe with it. Find A doctor that knows nothing about your previous symptoms. Go to him and don't tell him anything about your prior health problems. Then ask him to check you for allergies, or asthma. If things are still wrong after he checks you then you will have a clearer knowledge of what is happening to you. What's the name of this book?

I'm trying to remember the name of a book I read when I was a little kid, about 12 years old. When I got the book it was used and several years old. It's a story about a family of potato farmers in ireland. There's the mom, dad, the oldest daughter, the little brother(I think), and then the youngest sister. I think it takes place during the irish famine. Their crops die, and plague is rampant through the country. The parents leave the oldest daughter home with the son to take the youngest daughter to a doctor because she has caught plague. The story is told from the point of view of the oldest daughter. In the end the youngest daughter dies. I think the title was somewhere along the lines of The potato Children. I can't remember much, please help.

Are dobermans good for a first dog?

I have had many different breeds of dogs before I discovered Dobies. In my opinion they are definitely the "Cadillac" of all breeds. As any dog they do require consistent methods of training, but compared to the other breeds of dogs that I have had, I think that Dobies are in a lot of ways the easiest of breeds to train. They are extremely intelligent, constantly willing to please, and will do anything for the people they love. This includes trying to do what is expected of them. Don't think that Dobies don't shed because they do, but not as bad as other dogs. As far as the taping of the ears, my red/rust Dobie's ears were not that big of a problem. We had them cropped at about 3 months and tapped them for about 2 weeks after that, and they stood up perfectly; My vet believes that the earlier you have them cropped, the easier it is to get them to stand. I wouldn't trade my Dobies for another dog. As I tell everyone, "once you have a Dobie in your family, you will never be satisfied with another breed of dog again".

with an extremely ticklish fiancee?

Is there something haunting my house?

I live in a big house about 5 years old. My dad just moved out here and every night he can't sleep. Like ever. Hel wake up to a shaking every night at 2 in the morning and sometimes he sees something at my door but I lock it so I haven't. But the other night he went to a hotel and he said he slept like an angle. One time he said he's seen a cat on his night stand and when he turned the light on it it was gone. He's only lived here for about 3 months. I lived hear for 2 and a half years and haven't noticed anything suspicious but it's kinda freaking me out now. :/ is there something wrong? Could it be a ghost?

Sounds like you had a case of stomach flu or mild case of food poisoning. The slime material was most likely mucous which is found normally in the lining of the intestines, but when it gets irritated by something you ate or the flu the lining may slough off. The fact that the odor wasn't bad is a good sign and the reason the last one smelled may be that you finally are at the end of the inconvenience. I don't think you have anything to worry about, but if it continues for more then 2 or 3 days, then I would suggest checking with your doctor to make sure it isn't something more serious. You said that your stomach was not right the last day or so, so I am uming that you haven't had any problems with your stomach before now. Did you have cramping with your stools like when you have diarrhea? That too, could point to the fact that it was either food poisoning or the flu. Have you ate anything different in the last couple of days that was unusual for you to eat. That could point to a simple case of indigestion, even if you only ate something that was super spicy could cause something like this to happen. Like I said if your symptoms persist for more then a few days I would get it checked out and see if there is a possibility of something more serious going on or otherwise it was one of the three things I suggested. Hope this helps and you're feeling better real soon.

3 month old HATES belly time?

Should I just let him fuss or what? He's getting a very bad flat spot on one side of his head from always sitting in his car seat/bouncer. He's not supposed to lay on his back because he has bad acid reflux. Can someone please help before my brother kills himself?

I am really worried about my brother, he is 18 years old, in with the wrong crowd and morbidly obese. He is 5'10 and nearly 17 stones. He used to smoke about 15 cigarettes a day. He's now quit but he will drink a bottle of whisky in a night without thinking about it. He eats a lot of fast food and will often bring a kebab home for tea rather than eating what our Mum provides. Admittedly none of my family are the healthiest, with me 1 of the 2 slimmest, but my brother is frighteningly big. My Dad has ped on a lot of his bad eating habits to my brother. We all like a bit of drink now and again but we'll have 1 or 2 gles, whereas my brother does a bottle. He's just had surgery on his spine and he was warned before his first operation about being at risk of cardiovascular disease. I'm writing this for his own good and mine, my brother is 1 of 2 people who truly understand me. What can I do?
