Is it too much to ask for somebody to be interesting?

im 14 and a girl. i have some good friends now. the thing i like about them is their humor. but sometimes i feel they are too close minded. we just graduated from the 8th grade. i like art. that includes music from john lennon, the beatles, david bowie, elton john, smashing pumpkins, etc etc. i love film and editing. i like books like the perks of being a wallflower and the catcher in the rye. im going to a high school next year with hundreds of lil waynes and nicki minaj's. im afraid i will never meet another person who shares these interests with me. :/ what should i do?
