Any loopholes to buy a gun in the UK?

In our nanny-state, the UK had stamped down on owning replica guns and BB guns. There is currently an amnesity on such 'weapons' due to the new laws. This is rediculous - when I was younger, me and my friends used to fire BB guns at eachother for fun, and I'm still alive! I was brought up in the countryside and I want a real gun. Does anyone know if there's a loop-hole so I can buy a gun legally?
