RE- Is my 3 yr. old normal... Thanks to everyone that responded!!?

Special needs is probably different than the image that you have from how it was when you were a kid. If your child has some needs the more support the better and the earlier the better. The test results are not considered to be very reliable or respected. It is basically a way to justify the need for services. Most areas have what is called full-inclusion clrooms in the public school district. My 7 y.o. son is in a full inclusion clroom. The cl has up to 30% of identified kids with delays. The other 70% are typical. Just today I received my sons psychological eval results and do to many reasons they grossly underestimate his abilities. I plan to disagree and have an independent eval done (at the school districts expense)
