How can i convince my dad to let me paint my own room??

my dad and stepmom r building a house and my room is ready to paint but my dad is thinking about letting me paint it or getting professionals to spray it on and i dont want to do that how can i get him 2 let me paint it, the colors r going to be pink and orange and im not going to paint the room a special way, im just gonna paint pink walls with orange polka-dots also do u like the colors???? and how do i convince my dad that i can paint my own room??? thank u
