21 and never had a girlfriend?

I'm 21 and have never had a GF. I'm also a virgin. My last kiss was my jr. year in HS. I made out w/ this freshman. I was 16 and she was 15 so it's not like I'm a pedophile. I don't want to have a 1 night stand with some random slu+ that has god knows what. I want to have w/ a girl that means something to me, but ISN'T my top priority.. What can I do to get a girlfriend? I'm not the kind of guy who can walk up to a random girl and say blah blah blah let's get coffee sometime. I just find that to be a little weird. I'm not gay, so don't say that. I'm not after a smokin' hot girl. I want a girl that's cute. I don't want a girl who feels the need to go out and party. I want a girl who wouldn't mind coming over to my dorm and watching a movie and cuddling on my futon. I met a girl I though would be like that, but she has a BF, and even though he goes to another school, I have enough respect not to move in on his girl. I wouldn't want him doing that to me.
