THIS QUESTION is for all you die hard believers in our fine immigration system and how well its works?

In the begaining of this immigration process one year ago, I sent all required doentation as needed,} all along doing every step just as instructed, paying all the fees and all the hidden ones as well, 3 months after sending it in they replyed that everything was ok and the sent me a approval notice that my wife could be inline for her visa appointment and this was good news,they realize and have stated on their doents that international mail is not a dependable thing and for unimportant things a faxed item would do fine, that was nice of them, now 10 days before the one year mark they send me a letter saying they must have certifyed and translated copys of her birth certifacate and our marriage doents and a copy from the pages of her pport because they are missing,, she is mexican and has no pport, anyway they say that they must have it before the one year mark of us starting the process or all doents will expire and we must start the immigration process over again.
