My bathroom has mold on the ceiling and walls?

i am going to replace the ceiling and about half of the drywall in my bathroom due to mold. i plan on cutting out all of the ceiling and most of the walls. my question is what do i replace them with? i have heard green board is good for the walls but not the ceiling. i plan on paining the room when finnished. is there a special paint i should use aswell? im far from "mr. fix it" but i have a very handy friend i just need to know what type of materials to use. thank you
